Artwork & Crafting, Functional Literacy & Numeracy, General Knowledge, Language & Communication, Money Matters, Time Management, Social Skills, Fine Motor Skills, Physical Activities/Cardio, Yoga, Personal Grooming & Self-care, Shopping & Meal Prep, Recreational Activities, Seasonal Special Events, Contract Work, Dance & Music, Field Trips, etc.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Young adults with special needs who are out of the supportive school system, and are looking for a creativity-based program to sharpen their skills

  • Age 18 years and above

  ADMISSION PROCEDURE: 

  • Parents are advised to meet with staff to discuss specific skills and areas of development for the client

  • Registration forms and other paper work is to be completed

  • Any health and/or behaviour issue should be disclosed at this time

  • We require a report from the last school or day program that the client attended

DAYS & HOURS OF OPERATION:

  • Our centre operates 5 days a week, and is open from Monday to Friday. *We are closed on all statutory holidays

  • Timings: 9 am to 4 pm

FEES: 

Fees are to be paid by post-dated cheques

DIMISSAL POLICY:

  • Any client who uses abusive language and disrespects staff and peers, may be dismissed from the centre

  • We place utmost importance on the safety of our clients and staff. Any aggressive or violent behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal

DRESS CODE: 

All clients are expected to dress in comfortable, weather appropriate and modest clothing
